After placement the teeth implants are left to heal for 3-6 months. Once healed, a post is attached over the implant over which an artificial tooth is fixed.

The site planned for dental implant placement is then prepared to the required dimensions using surgical drills of the corresponding diameter.

The decision to use any particular type of implant in any particular type of clinical case is the sole discretion of the treating dentist.
